Parasites: The Hows and Whys of Jerks

I've noticed that where there is degeneration or decay within human affairs, you can almost always find evidence of spiritual parasitism.

Let's start with the parasitic human personality, as that is the easiest and most tangible example. How many people have you known who seem to feed off of the energy of those around them? The human parasite is a person who has an uncanny ability to sniff out and latch onto people who are emotionally and energetically wide open. Often the "victim" is a SEEMINGLY generous (or at least spineless) spirit who may actually suffer from "doormat syndrome" in that he or she has a hard time establishing boundaries with others. This doesn't have to be an extreme deficiency or even overtly evident -- often it's just a slow, steady leak that goes unnoticed by the host. The human parasite, in this sense, is like a shark -- able to detect the tiniest tears and soft spots in the host's psychic shield. The poster child for human parasitism on a one-on-one basis is the emotionally abusive romantic relationship.

Just as it is possible for a human to feed on a human, I believe it is also quite possible for other entities to feed on humans. This is where things start to get complicated and I find myself wondering if the human parasite is actually the host for an "energetic" parasite who has so drained its victim that he or she has to turn to external sources (other people) to continue to meet its demands. It's really creepy if you think about it, because through "patient zero", or the malevolent entity's initial human host, there's the potential for EXPONENTIAL increase in energy harvest. Think of it as a family tree. At the top, you have the bad guy from Dimension X. It latches onto a miserable guy named Bob. Bob latches onto Sue, and Sue isn't strong enough to recognize the dysfunction, so she becomes coopted as well. As Sue is now critically drained, she too must plug into external sources in order to sustain her own energy and thereby feed the parasite. She can do this in any number of ways -- just by being rude to the cashier at the supermarket for example. She says something nasty, the person receiving the criticism gets a nice little jolt of anger or whatever, and Sue absorbs that energy. It then travels through her and back through Bob and up into Dimension X. The possibilities are endless, if you think about it. It creates this vast, far-reaching web of energy channels, essentially insuring that our parasite(s) never go hungry. There are plenty of questions to be asked here. How many "patient zeros" are there? Do these parasites compete among each other for "direct connection" with a human host? It seems like this could explain why some people are always sniffing out other peoples' parades, and then promptly raining (pissing?) on them. To me this offers a pretty good model for why we shouldn't be assholes to each other.

Remember that movie 'Pay it Forward'? What if instead of doing 3 nice things for every 1 nice thing that's done to us, we did 3 nice things for every nasty thing that was done to us? Mightn't that tip the scales a bit? Or what if we just did nice things all the time, whenever possible? And I don't mean like wimpy passive niceness. I mean being truly good and honest all the time, and NEVER putting up with or giving into someone else's miserable bullshit.

The reason I got thinking about all of this is because of the aforementioned commotion about Tim's alleged ineptitude in the realm of Real Magick. It struck me as really weird that this flurry of negativity would suddenly manifest itself in the midst of what's been some really excellent exchange among a lot of very bright, nice people.

I too found this site via Tim's. That's what the internet is for.

I am currently reading a much-lauded book on marketing and social engineering: The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, by Malcolm Gladwell.

In it, Gladwell goes into the studies "Understanding and Assessing Nonverbal Expressiveness: The Affective Communication Test," Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and "Effect of Individual Differences in Nonverbal Expressiveness on Transmission of Emotion," Journal of Nonverbal Behavior. Both of these studies were conducted by Howard Friedman, et al.

Within these experiments and studies, it was found that even when someone is smiled at the brain reproduces the effect. Even if not visible, the muscles that control smiles in many people's faces are triggered. Faces are hotbeds for nonverbal communication. There are also studies done on charismatic characteristics and placing persons in rooms with them. One person with a stronger disposition to being personable can easily affect those without, as quickly as in 30 seconds. These persons with insight and confidence could inspire happiness in "less developed" or "psychologically weaker" individuals, as well as bring about bouts of depression or melancholy.

By using metaphors of vampirism and "sucking energy" from others, we may essnentially be dumbind down something that is verifiably provable and can be studied. These studies can lead into larger research endeavours dealing with social interaction, hierarchy, confidence, power, insight, et cetera. How the so-called stronger and more charismatic persons go to be the way they are is also applicable in both marketing and the occult. It generally has to deal with the aforementioned characteristics, and the occult method would be the study and attainment of one's own personal myth to shape and change oneself in order to become a stronger, wiser entity.

I believe in hierarchy and order, as much as I respect and admire chaos and her breed. But if there are to be the sheep, then all the power to the shepherds (for now) for doing what they do.

For without sheep, the shepherds would cease to exist. Or as Marilyn Manson put it, "the weak ones are there to justify the strong."

Those that are fed off of become such because they allow it to take place. "Every moment is simply another chance to turn it all around."

i don't think that my using the metaphor of vampirism is dumbing anything down! i think it's just one way of mapping a certain type of energy dynamic. it may SEEM elementary, but is it really ? not to me. my mind is artistic/intuitive/visual -- i'm an enfp, not an estj, you know? i think that the holistic, intuitive comprehension of a situation is just as important as a systematic, hierarchical, "scientific" breakdown. in fact, much of my OBJECTION to modern science and medicine lies in this realm.

i know what you mean about people allowing others to feed off of them -- that's analagous to the abuser and the victim who enables the abuse. i don't think this is always a valid model, though. there are people who aren't capable of fully comprehending the fact that they're being drained, or the ways in which it's occurring.

there's a "scientific" explanation for everything -- this i believe. i do not, however, believe that science is all there is, or that "empircal" knowledge is the most important kind of knowledge. hence my interest in gnosis.

the two most significant aspects i can discern is that victims are:

lied to - usually told that the parasite is a creator of some sort

stunted - the parasite holds them in a bubble, a closed system, so that they cannot grow

cut off - from their natural support systems, e.g., love, energy, information

i am curious why you have icke and the cassiopeans on yer "don't trust" list BTW. Not disagreeing just curious. I guess I just assume that everything has to be taken with a grain of salt nowadays and these are not especially deserving of mistrust (as compared to, say, the Pentagon or Jerry Falwell)

if these things are truly inorganic, does that make them truly UNCREATIVE?.. and if so, their only talents lie in their ability to tamper and tinker and lead astray, not to actually fabricate or contribute anything to the universe.

regarding david icke/the cassiopaeans.. they're up there for a few reasons. first would be that i instinctively DON"T trust them.. i just have a nasty gut reaction to their material. secondly, i think they're sort of amusing as these archetypes of ultra-paranoia, so it's kind of a joke. thirdly, i guess i want to make it clear to people that i don't subscribe to any kind of literalist dogmatic conspiracy theory, ie; THE EVIL REPTILIANS/ORGANIC PORTALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING THAT"S WRONG IN THE WORLD.

Many parasite people are that way out of ignorance and disability. Some very inept people are parasites and are inocent. Some are raise to be inconsiderate of everyone and use everyone. The Gypsy groups fully intent to take from everyone and they do it as a group. They arrive in my town in February. I see them taking Sunday papers out of boxes. They pay for one paper and then take them all. Then they stand on the street selling the papers they took. Others buy cars from private parties with bad checks. Once they get the title signed they own the car legally and then sell the car. The Gypsys hurt so many people. They buy gasoline and drive away without paying.

I understand why Hitler wanted to eliminate thieves. Although, Hitler's methodes were wrong he did eliminate these parasites.

Now consider persons entering the USA illegally with AIDS. Americans pay over $100,000 to treat each of these parasites. It is a suck of strength from our country. They exploit our Christian giving values.

When a society gets poor, as happened in Germany after the second WW, the societ forgets the Christian giving values and protects themsleves. The following actions are not nice. However, these actions are predictable and natural.
